You've probably noticed that this site hasn't been updated in a long, long time (almost 2 years, in fact). Psygnosis is no more, and apparently no publishers are continuing the Lemmings license. So, it's time to call it quits - I will no longer update this site. The site will remain up on the web for everyone to continue to visit, but no more content will be added.

I've removed all of the downloads from my server. Unfortunately, I need the space for other projects. But don't fret...there is an excellent download source at Lemmings Universe. Please visit this site for demos, media and other Lemmings-related downloads.

I'll be shutting off the lemmings@deinonych.com email address as well. If you need information on where to buy the games etc., please refer to the FAQ section.

Thanks go out to everyone who has visited and supported this site over the past 6 years. They've been fun, but it's time to move on. So long!

Regards,
Chris

I dusted off some of the e-mail that has been sent over the past few months and have added/changed content on the site. Most of these changes were a result of your feedback, so keep it coming!

    - Added walkthroughs for Holiday Lemmings 94. Big thanks go out to Kilian A. Foth for his hard work in writing these!
- Added a link to Pingus, a Lemmings clone game originally developed for the Linux operating system (a Win32 version is available as well.) Check out their home page for more info. Thanks go to Corey for letting me know about this!
- Updated various broken links to the Lemmings demos. I've decided to place all of the demos locally, so you'll always have access to them. It makes for easier maintenence as well.
- Added a fun Lemmings WAV file compiled from SNES Lemmings sound effects. Thanks go out to James Vanderhyde for the submission!
- Added "The Peanut Butter and Lemmings Site" to the links section. Many thanks to Matt Baker for sending in his URL!
- Updated the FAQ section with some Q&A. The full-blown FAQ still isn't completed...sorry!

Also, I received a note from Sally Cort (of Lemmings 3D walkthrough fame!) letting me know that she has completed a walkthrough for Lemmings Revolution! Look for this walkthrough to appear on this site very soon.

I have received some (hopefully) good news about Lemmings today! I just got an e-mail from our friends at Psygnosis UK regarding an upcoming demo called "Lemmings Revolution." I have no idea what it is, but I am hoping it will be a compilation of sorts. All my contact provided was a press release, given below:

Lemmings Revolution Promises To Have Gamers In A Spin!

An exclusive Lemmings demo and limited edition prizes await gamers at a new website being launched on 31st August by the brand's creators Psygnosis. The playable PC demo will be available to download, giving players a sneak preview of an exciting concept that the UK based developers are rumoured to be considering as a new PC-CD ROM game.

With the title 'Lemmings Revolution', the one level demo is a spin on the highly addictive original that had players glued to their cliff edges when the furry rodents first fell on to our PCs in 1991.

Located at www.psygnosis.co.uk/lemmings the site will offer you the chance to win some fantastic prizes including a Sony Discman and limited edition Lemmings Revolution T-shirts. The team at Psygnosis will also be giving you the rare opportunity to have your say on the concept of Lemmings Revolution and whether you would like to see this early demo developed into a full game.

But you'll have to hurry - while Psygnosis aren't giving any secrets away about the demo other than its arrival on 31st August, they have warned that the site will be live for two weeks only. After that, who knows? If our furry friends have their way we could be in for a full revolution!

Note that the demo will be available for download at the Lemmings Revolution website. I am also looking into opportunities for this site to participate as well. At this time, I do not have any more information than what is stated in the press release, so please do not ask me for additional insight into this product. If I get more information, I will post it to the site.

On a related note, I've been playing quite a bit of Worms:Armageddon (WA) lately. WA is a turn-based strategy/puzzle game that is very addictive and a lot of fun. Gameplay is much different than Lemmings, but it has a similar appeal. Check out the Worms homepage for more information.
Whew. It's been a while since this page has been updated, mostly due to the lack of pertinent Lemmings news.

I noticed that Lemmings for Windows now can be purchased at CompUSA stores for around $15US. Not sure if it is available elsewhere, but this is a pretty good deal. I also noticed that Lomax in Lemmingland for Sony PSX is available at GameDealer for $15US, in case anyone is looking for this title.
